Service Disconnection

Temporary Disconnection

To have the electric service temporarily disconnected so that you can perform maintenance on your electrical wiring, call Guernsey-Muskingum Electric Cooperative and ask for the Operations Department.

We will make arrangements to send a serviceman out to disconnect the power in a timely manner. Please call a few days in advance of the desired date of the temporary disconnection.

Transfer or Permanent Disconnection

To have service disconnected or transferred into someone else's name, call Guernsey-Muskingum Electric Cooperative and ask for the Billing Department.

You will need to provide a "final" meter reading and forwarding address. In addition, please have information about the new member moving in, if applicable.
